INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF KIDNEY FOUNDATIONS (IFKF) and WORLD KIDNEY DAY (WKD)
The NKFSA is a member of the IFKF and values its membership of the IFKF. The IFKF
is the leading international federation that brings together kidney foundations
from all over the world in order to network and gain international guidance and
support from other member countries.
The IFKF initiated and continues to promote WORLD KIDNEY DAY that is celebrated
internationally on the second Thursday of March each year. The NKFSA normally supports
these international celebrations by scheduling some of its projects to co-incide
with WKD.
